9. WBCC Super Quiz #16...by Jack Hepler, USA The March Super Quiz was about Switzerland's three
beautiful Bi-metallic 10 Francs coins that featured three of the
highest mountains in the Alps. The mountains so honored were the
Matterhorn Cervin, Jungfrau, and Piz Bernina. The May question is
about the location. Which mountain is the most easterly and which
is the most westerly of the three mountains?
Answer to WBCC Super Quiz #15
Kings have been rulers of nations down through the ages. Sometimes Kings were benevolent, sometimes despots. Kings remain popular as heads of state even today. Some are only figureheads and some actually rule the nation. Name the Bi-metallic issuing countries that have a King. Queens, Princes, Princesses and others who are considered royalty are not to be included. The correct answers are: Bahrain, Belgium, Cambodia, Jordan, Lesotho, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Thailand. Bhutan issued a commemorative Bi-metallic coin and is headed by a king, so players who answered Bhutan, also received credit. The March Super Quiz winner was Gaurav Singh. The April Super Quiz winner will be announced next week. 10. New Bi-, Tri-, or Tetra-metallic images...by Rod
