#713...........by Jack Hepler, USA
This week
continues the quiz series called, "Whose Face".
The correct
answer to Bi-metallic Quiz Game question #712 is Francisco Del Rosario
Sanchez. 10. WBCC Super Quiz #14...by Jack Hepler, USA Kings have been rulers of nations down through the ages.
Sometimes Kings were benevolent, sometimes despots. Kings remain
popular as heads of state even today. Some are only figureheads and
some actually rule the nation. Name the Bi-metallic issuing
countries that have a King. Queens, Princes, Princesses and others who
are considered royalty are not to be included.
Answer to WBCC Super Quiz #13 Switzerland issued three beautiful Bi-metallic 10 Francs coins that featured three of the highest mountains in the Alps. The mountains so honored were The Matterhorn Cervin, Jungfrau, and Piz Bernina. What is the sum of the heights of these three mountains? The correct answer is: 12,684 m. Or 41,617 feet. Sums within one or two meters of these values were accepted due to the variation in information sources and the fact that mountain heights are not always stable. (Matterhorn: 4478 m, Jungfrau 4158 m, Piz Bernina 4048 m.) The February Super Quiz winner was Meir Sapir, WBCC member #296. The Super Quiz 13 winner was Gaurav Singh, WBCC Member
490. There were nine players who had the correct answer. The tie
breaker resulted from a drawing.
