German Bi-metallic commemorative...Frans Dubois, Netherlands This week I've got a German Bi-metallic commemorative dated 1995 depicting Gustav Stressmann a famous German politician. This Bi-metallic is from a serie of 12 Bi-metallic different commemoratives which are isued by the German firm MDM from Braunschweig. All these commemoratives are made of a Nickel ring and Brass center and 5000 pieces in proof quality of each pieces are made. Uzbekistan Bi-metallic Commemoratives...By Martin Peeters, Netherlands In the city Tashkent, Uzbekistan, there is build a new Mint. For that occasion the German firm "Schuler Pressen" has struck 2 Bi-metallic commemoratives medals. I've got them this week for free. The first one depicts in the center a star with the text "5 Yil." The outer ring has the text "1992 Uzbekistan 1997" and "Davlat Belgisi". The second one depicts a stylized "ZX" and the text in the outer ring "Toskent zarbxonassiing ocilisi mart 1997".
