The new ‘Insulin’ toonies have arrived!  One coloured; the other one not.

Interesting is that the name of Dr. Banting is not mentioned.  Not on the coins and not in the description.

For sale 2 euro commemorative coin Belgium 2021 BLEU Posted on July 7, 2021 One of the 2-euro commemorative coins that we may consider difficult to obtain in 2021 has just been put on sale. It is the one dedicated to the «Centenary of the constitution of the Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union (BLEU)».
This coin of which only 155,000 pieces are issued does not go into circulation, so to have it you will have to buy one of the 150,000 coincards (two versions) with the coin in BU quality, or one of the 5,000 in Proof quality.

The Government of Andorra presented yesterday the euro coins that the Principality will issue in 2021.

Coin 2 euros cc -Centenary of the coronation of Our Lady of Meritxell The issue volume announced for this coin is 73,750 pieces, of which 70,000 will be issued in BU quality and 3,750 in Proof quality.

 

2 euro commemorative coin - Let's take care of our elders The volume of issue announced for this coin is 70,000 pieces, all of them in BU quality.

The dates of issue of any of the coins, which this year are minted by the Monnaie de Paris, have not been provided.

South Africa  a commemorative 5 rand  coin, of the bimetallic type, has been put into circulation in South Africa to celebrate the "Centenary of the Reserve Bank of South Africa". Founded on June 30, 1921, it is one of the oldest outside Europe.

British Indian Ocean Territories 2021 2 pound The White Horse of Hanover
The Queen’s Beasts are ten heraldic statues representing the genealogy of Queen Elizabeth II which are depicted as the Royal supporters of England with each on consisting of a heraldic beast supporting a shield bearing the bade or arms of a family associated with the ancestry of Queen Elizabeth II. The original statues were commissioned to stand at an entrance of Westminster Abbey for Her Majesty’s Coronation in 1953.

On June 23, 2021, the National Bank of Croatia (Hrvatska Narodna banka; HNB) issued a commemorative coin to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Croatian Association of Technical Culture, 1946-2021

22. 06. 2021 the Italian IPZS issued the second 2 Euro commemorative coin 2021. The coin with the theme “Professions in Health Care” shows a man and a woman in a doctor's coat, with a mouth and nose mask, stethoscope and medical clipboard, representing everyone Doctors and nurses who are at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19. Above the motif is the lettering "GRAZIE" and a heart and below the monogram "RI" of the Italian Republic. A doctors cross on the left. The “R” of the Roman mint on the right, the initials of the coin designer Claudia Momoni at the bottom left and the year “2021” below complete the motif. The twelve stars of the European flag are depicted on the outer ring of the coin. The coin has a total circulation of 3 million copies, of which 12,000 in a BU Coincard and 7,000 in a proof case and 1,500 in a mirror-finish KMS.
