Dear WBCC members and non WBCC members, Welcome into the World of Bi-, Tri- and Tetra-metallics. I hope you enjoy reading this week's issue of the WBCC Newsmail 1. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2017 from Lithuania…..by Martin Peeters, The Netherlands The Bank of Lithuania announces issuing of the commemorative Bi-metallic 2 Euro for 2017 on 31 August. Coin is dedicated to the City of Vilnius, considered the Capital Cultural and Artistic State. Million pieces minted, 10,000 will be issued as BU, the rest will be distributed in rolls of 25 coins by banks. 2. Bi-metallic 2 Euro 2018 from Spain……by Martin Peeters, The Netherlands Two commemorative Bi-metallic 2 Euro to be issued in Spain during the next 2018. The first continues the series begun in 2010 dedicated to goods or sites included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO, in order of registration corresponding shift in 2018 to "Old Town of Santiago de Compostela". The design shows the sculpture of St. James as the central figure of the composition, just behind the Holy Door of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela appears. On the left side and capitalize the word SPAIN, under the year of issue 2018 and below the mintmark of the Mint. The issue date is scheduled for early February of 2018. And attention to the issue volume, 300,000 pieces, which would make this the commemorative 2-euro coin with the lowest roll, with a lot of difference. The second Bi-metallic 2 Euro is themed the "50th Anniversary of King Philip VI" which will celebrate its 50th birthday on 30 January. 3.
